Neil Edmundson (Chartered Accountant & Financial Adviser), MNZM

Hockey has taken Neil around the world as a player and Black Sticks’ manager and he’s also credited with the original, multi-million-dollar development of hockey’s Park Island facilities. His Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit (MNZM) recognises this dedication along with his other many community services. Neil is also a Life Member of New Zealand Hockey, a Fellow of the Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand professional institute and one of the few non-Rotarians to be awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship. 

It’s a far cry from his young days of picking fruit, fattening pigs and driving pea harvesters to pay his way through the University of Canterbury.

Neil’s specialist knowledge of business valuations often comes into play when helping in matrimonial settlements and business purchases or sales, with his down-to-earth, no-holds-barred approach ensuring his clients are in safe hands. He is also a Financial Adviser

It is with this knowledge that the firm lets him do its bidding at the annual Hawke’s Bay Charity Wine Auction, which donates proceeds to Cranford Hospice.
